My Favourite Empowering Women

My Favourite Empowered Women

If I were to make a list of the women who inspire me, who are empowered, who are incredible role models, this post would go on forever. I honestly cannot mention every single woman or female personality who I believe deserve recognition for the work they do, but I thought for my first post I would list some of my few favourites. If you haven't heard of any of these women listed here then please go check them out. They're really incredible.

Oloni: @oloni

I have the biggest girl-crush ever on this woman. She is as sex-positivity relationship coach, and runs a podcast called Laid Bare along with two other amazing women called Scotty and SJ. Oloni's whole brand is about being empowered, feminine, and the best possible version of yourself. Her podcast is without a doubt one of the funniest thing I have ever listened to, and in the few short weeks that I've powered through almost every episode, my confidence has tripled. Plus, she does the most incredible threads on twitter where she asks women to submit their anonymous confessions - and I promise you - they will have you crying laughing.

Malin Andersson: @missmalinsara

You might know her from Love Island, but Malin Andersson has gone on to do so much more after that. She is one of the biggest voices speaking about infant child loss and domestic abuse, and uses her experiences and stories to empower other women and give them strength. What's more, her words about body positivity are a massive inspiration. She constantly talks about the struggles of societal expectations of how a woman should look, and regularly posts uplifting and motivational pictures of realistic, unfiltered, women.

Megan Crabbe: @bodyposipanda

Megan Crabbe is a recovered anorexic and has built her brand on spreading body positivity. Just scrolling through her Instagram will lighten your mood and leave you feeling so much happier. A regular occurrence on her feed are videos she posts of her dancing in her underwear, where she embraces the "jiggle" and "shaking" of our bodies. She also talks about mental health and keeps things real in terms of the struggles people face, and how every day doesn't have to be a good day. If you're not following her Instagram, do it, and add a splash of colour to your feed.

Patricia Bright: @thepatriciabright

Patricia Bright began with a YouTube channel where she would review makeup, clothing, and everything in between. But on the side she also ran her own business, and since then has gone on to flourish. She has started a separate YouTube account about how to manage finances and run a successful business, and her book Heart & Hustle is an amazing insight into how to do so. Not only is she an incredible mother-of-two and badass business woman, but she spends her time flaunting around fashion shows, business panels, and around the world. If you want to start watching someone who will make you laugh and also teach you something, then she's your gal.

As I said, these are only a few women who I love. Each have their own strengths and characteristics, and whether you're looking for someone who talks about sex, body positivity, business, or mental health, there is someone there for you.

Be kind, and be positive.
